Hello Paul. We are always happy to talk to people who are interested in writing for us. I will email you to discuss the options.
Well done with the language studies – I’ve been meaning to get to grips with modern Arabic for years now, with limited success. Best of luck with hieratic – it really is no picnic!
Best
Andrea
Was there at Madinet Habu last week, took my son, totally loved it, thanks for sharing the photos.
Heidi. Can i have your permission to include some of your photos on my blog please? I am very interested in your Deir el Bahri set. I have used one already, but should you have any hesitations, i will remove the pic:

Who were the Sea People?
Hello Valerie. That’s a really good question and there is no definitive answer. The Sea People is a generalized term used to refer to Mediterranean sea-faring people who raided countries around the Mediterranean coast. There are various theories about their nationality, but although many of the ideas have merit none have been accepted universally. The raids were serious and are often credited with undermining thriving cultures. There’s a useful article about them by geoarchaeologist Eberhard Zannger on the Saudi Aramco World website entitled “Who Were the Sea People?” (http://www.saudiaramcoworld.com/issue/199503/who.were.the.sea.people..htm)
These photos of Medinet Habu are realley great, what amazes me about these is the remaining colour that is left on the walls & the ceilings, not only at Medinet Habu but also the rest of the Temples through out Egypt itself.
Wonderful photos, especially the ceiling.
Beautiful. I love the ceiling and the columns next to it. Thank you for sharing.
