Hi Kate, If you look closely at the credits at the back of the book you will find that this, as with all books credited to Hawass, has a ‘writer’. This explains your query that the writing here does not sound anything like him. The ‘writer’ this time is none other than Janice Kamrin, who way back in his career also ‘helped’ him with his PhD.Agree with you about the reconstruction of Tutankhamun’s face. Why was it necessary whenhis tomb contained many representations of what he looked like. This one doesn’t. Your new site provides good articles and photos. Thanks.
