The People of Egypt

A very special thanks is owed to the ordinary men and women of Egypt who have protected many important sites, often against armed gangs.  Without the efforts of these heroes, Egypt was in danger of losing the majority of her heritage.  Their names will probably never be known, but Egypt owes them an enormous debt: the world owes them an enormous debt.
